The oldest and largest Chinese Daily in Canada

Since its establishment in Toronto on August 1,1978, and its expansion to Vancouver in 1983 and Calgary in 1988, Sing Tao Daily has become the largest and best-known Chinese language newspaper in Canada. In a readership survey conducted by Environics Research Group (one of Canada¡¯s leading public opinion research companies) in October, 2005, the results revealed that Sing Tao Daily is the most favorite newspaper amongst Chinese Canadians. With a readership of 182,000 in the Greater Vancouver Area, Sing Tao reaches 53% of all Chinese on an average week, 29% higher than the next leading Chinese daily.
